GEZA RICZ

Géza Ricz nasce nel 1980 a Subotica (ex Jugoslavia), da famiglia ungherese. Attualmente vive e lavora a Salisburgo, in Austria. Si laurea a Bachelor of Arts nel 2011 e consegue un Master nel 2013 presso l’Università di Szeged in Ungheria. Negli anni ‘90 sperimenta i linguaggi della Street Art, dipingendo murales in tutta Europa. È membro del gruppo CTR-V e del Salzburger Kunstverein, nonché fondatore e presidente di Sub-Art, associazione di arte contemporanea. Aperto a diversi campi creativi, Ricz lavora anche come designer per diversi brand, come Leica, Red Bull, Burn, Telenor, Audi e Suzuki. Nel 2018 è finalista del premio Combat, vincitore del premio Ora e del Vojvodina Fine Hungarian Book 2018 per il miglior libro d’arte. Le sue opere sono state esposte al Salon D’Automne a Parigi, all’Arsenale di Venezia, Arnolfini Bristol, Kunsthalle di Budapest.
